Welp, it's almost Tuesday and I have absolutely had it with stupid groundhogs and gophers and whatever other abnormally large bastard rodents who enjoy polluting the air with LIES. Girl. AN EARLY SPRING, HUH???
Please, I've got absolutely nothing else to do other than wait around for the snow to melt. Okay, that's not true, there's always work to finish and books to read, but those are like number ten on the list of things I care about right now. Today I spent at least five hours trying to fix my busted mess of a website and I think it's okay now. I'm kind of annoyed because everyone has a neocities and like, I just have defunct blogspot. But I was quite considerate when I started this project in deciding which thing I wanted to use, and I came to the conclusion that blogspot would be the best because I don't know, it reminded me of the good ol' days of blogging when I was too young to know what I was doing, and the community is like...A bunch of grandmas and knitting and stuff. (insert little knitting thingy here!!) Whereas neocities kind of assaults my eyes when I log on and there's too many things, and too many kids, and I don't know what's going on. So I can just watch from afar in the safety of my metaphorical blogspot rocking chair. And tea.
I'll be honest, the only reason I'm writing this right now is because I'm want to change up the recent post thing on my homepage. It's kind of frustrating. When I didn't have this blog, I had so many things to say and either was too embarrassed to post about it on Tumblr, or didn't want to cramp my hand up writing in my actual physical journal. Now suddenly I've got nothing. That's sad. I don't feel any pressure to write anything though. I want this space to be filled with mostly important things to look back to, not just rambling garbage. Which of course will be in here, but you know.
I named this blog Goodbye Sunday for multiple, unrelated (maybe related?) reasons. One: when I was a kid and played old virtual world games, there was this user named "Miss Sunday" who I thought was super cool and I don't know, I just liked the name. Two: the song Goodbye (which might be playing now!) by The Sundays. I don't even necessarily like The Sundays in any particular way, but my dad used to play Here's Where the Story Ends in the car during road-trips when I was little, so it always reminds me of the summer when I'd fall asleep to the sun on my face and the bumps of the road. Three, Sunday is just a cute word. It has the word sun in it. The sun is nice. I am seriously lacking vitamin d, and I get the worst seasonal depression. I like sweating thank you very much. Alright, I've gotta skedaddle and skim through some papers, and then hit the sack ☺
See you around! SIGN MY GUESTBOOK, I MEAN IT!!!
