I Did It!

    OKAY. Finally. It took me an embarrassingly long time to do all this but for a first-time newbie at anything coding/blog related, I think I did ok!!! I remember wanting to make my own blog many years ago, clicking on "blogger," seeing all the intimidating blank space and immediately exiting out. I thought it would be easy and I could just drag and drop images wherever the heck I wanted on the page, but it was a lot harder than I imagined.

    So, anyways, whatever you're seeing is what I've attempted in the last couple of weeks. BUT I promise I'll likely be changing it up and fixing things that don't work!!! It's going to take a long while to build up this website, but I hope it'll be fun :-). 

    I've always been a journaling kinda girl and I've had a journal for almost every year of my life, whether it be a physical book, or, lately, a series of rants on the notes app of my phone. Recently I was posting on Tumblr, treating it like I will this blog, but I didn't like the lack of control I had. I felt like no matter what, everyone could see what I was doing and how I was doing it -- but here it's like a space of my own. I can do whatever I want really, so I like that! Maybe that makes me a  control-freak, or maybe just someone who wants to scrawl "emma waz here" on the park bench of the interwebz, who knows. Really though, this blog exists purely out of my desperation to create SOMETHING. 

About Me!

HELLO!!! My name is Emma! And this is my blog! Here I plan on writing about everything. Most of it will be rants, and tons of it will be like my own virtual diary, but I'd like to share creative things too, hopefully (at some point). Most of all, I want this to be a space I can come back to in many years from now and shudder at all of the things past-me had been thinking and feeling. I also hope people visit! SO IF YOU DO, YOU BETTER SIGN MY GUESTBOOK! SIGN IT!!

NOW WHAT?!

I'm so tired, it's 11:25PM, and I have a three-hour lecture tomorrow. It's on an interesting topic (Art History something), but three-hours is kinda crazy. Also, I'm currently a fourth year art student studying English! One day, I'd like to be a librarian, but who knows. I'd just like to graduate at this point. Wish me luck :-) Good night!

← Oh my gosh, this is me at Niagara Falls using my mom's busted camera. This is so funny to me because I'm not even pointing at the actual falls, it's literally just the lake. I don't even think I thought it was the actual falls, I just didn't care because I've been there so many times. It was so cold that day, and the big salt-truck thingy drove by and GUNNED EVERYONE IN THE VICINITY DOWN, even the children. We we're literally pelted with big chunks of salt. I still have the stains on my boots to prove it.
